Body Measurement Tips for Weight Loss

Having recently discovered that I had messed up my first ever, I decided it might be a good idea to do a little research and share what I 've learned to help others avoid the same mistakes. As many of you know, the stairs are not always the best way to determine your weight loss efforts . Sometimes you do everything right and still lose a single pound, the scale does not move, or worse, you've gained weight ! If this has ever happened to you and you are absolutely sure your diet and exercise routing and deflected maybe just put a little " extra muscle and is throwing down the stairs. Taking action can be a great way to help track your weight loss and to avoid being discouraged by the results of the scale, in spite of all your efforts.

When clothes are better, or are too loose , you 've obviously lost a few centimeters. Take action you will see how much you lost , and if you order a lot of clothes online, you can easily have your measurements available to compare the reference tables in terms of size , if you are sure they will fit!

How to take measurements

1) Place the tape directly on your skin. The best way to ensure a good fit of the band is a little over your skin without clothes to add to the circumference. If you can not do it, the best option is to wear tight clothes or .

2) Make sure the measuring tape is straight. Keep the tape parallel to the ground , twisted band will give a false reading . Use a mirror or ask someone to help you get better results. In most cases, you simply go by the feeling is totally inaccurate .

3 ) Press the leader of the band . Do not pull too tight or too loose to leave . Make sure it is tight enough not to slip while maintaining the sensation of touch all around.

4) Take steps in the morning. This will ensure that the food does not interfere with the results . If you can not do in the morning, just do it between meals or wait for the next day if possible.

5) For measurements of bust, exhale. Make sure to expire before acting trunk ; the point is to measure your body, not your lung capacity !

6 ) remains constant. Take note of how you do things for the first time , and do it the same way every time - or better than you. Take measures against the skin of a week, then clothes next week can significantly affect the results.

where the measurement

Here I will list where I measure, you are welcome to include or exclude anything you see or do not see here , of course.

1) Neck: Place the tape to the back of the neck at the base and pull it toward the front of the throat with a slight downward angle .

2) case : as opposed to a measure of the torso, chest measurement should be taken just under the breasts both male and female .

3) Waist: Personally , I think the size of about an inch above your belly button. Some believe that the conduct of the abdomen , and your life just below the sternum. Others see directly into the sea (ie body fat calculators ) or just below . Remember that every time you choose to take, you take the same place next time.

4) upper arm / biceps taken the most important step . An easy way to find out is to close the band around which you think is the broadest and point holding the belt tight enough , up and down the arm. As long as you do not loosen the narrowest point will be the largest and you can take your measure it .

5) Forearm: make the most important point.

6 ) took the wrist just below the palm of your hand.

7) Also: taken at the hips or buttocks bigger . If you're more focused on your buttocks area , just move the band at your lowest . Otherwise , the point of wide hips ok real.

8) THIGH : once again , the widest point . You can see the arm to see how to determine this point.

9 ) Veal : Again , the widest point . We see a trend here ?

In addition to not measure over baggy clothes , or even keeping the tape , the most important thing is to measure the same spot every position every time you measure . If you want to "keep official" you should go by the guide, and it is certainly easier to keep track of where you measure each time using the widest point . The main goal we want to achieve here however, is to obtain accurate results that will help us to see the progress in our efforts to lose weight. If you can do this , you have succeeded !
